| Our media center includes CDs (Audio and Multimedia), audiocassettes, records and audiotapes, slides, DVDs, videos, 16mm films and media combinations.
The content of our holdings relates primarly the content of teaching at the University of Bremen and proposals from patrons. Over the time the following priorities have developed: architecture, regional studies, German studies, art, media studies, education, psychology, dance, theatre and contemporary history. Language course for self teaching complete the range of media.
- a collection of music records and CDs (classic, basic collection of jazz and popular music)
- recordings of sound broadcasting and televison for research and teaching within in the university
- Motion picture and documentary films
- 16 mm-Films (biology, history, education studies, psychology and sport)
- Diapositives and slides (architecture and art)
- Language courses
- Sound recordings of documentations (literature and contemporary history)
- CD-ROMs (e.g. encyclopedias or databases) that can only be used in the rooms of the media center at a multimedia terminal
