Development, Production and Technical Service |
 |
Communication structures for optimal media application in education and research today and in the future are the IWF - Knowledge and Media's most important concern. We are competent partners for projects that require the development and use of audio-visual knowledge media in society. We promote media research and didactics.
In its production of film, video, CD-ROM and Internet-capable media modules, the IWF concentrates on the development of prototypal media, new methods and trend-setting technologies. In addition, the media provider IWF carries out contract productions for scientific facilities or companies desiring to present their firm, its research results and its developments. It also prepares contributions for television (features, magazine programmes, etc.) and interactive museum applications.
We will gladly provide you with equipment, studios and qualified technicians for your production. Copying films and videos, conversion of standards and digitisation are performed by our "Media Transfer Department" on request.

Education and Advanced Training |
 |
IWF employees pass on their practice-oriented know-how in numerous courses and training sessions. As a consequence of a co-operation agreement with the Technical University of Brunswick, the IWF's educational offering has been systematised and expanded. Thus, an opportunity to obtain an academic degree with media-oriented projects has been created.
Lectureships at several other universities and advanced training courses in co-operation with private or state advanced training and educational institutions round out our offering. Additionally, there are various practical and compact courses in techniques and editing at the IWF as supplements to curricula and advanced training. In the occupational training sector we offer apprenticeships for office administrators and media designers. Our complete provision offering for training and advanced training can be found in the Internet at http://www.iwf.de/IWF/Service/Seminare.
